Isaiah “Izzy” Eilander, 16, of Garwin, passed away Nov. 29, 2019, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Marshalltown. A visitation will be from noon Saturday until service time at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family. Isaiah Michael Eilander was born May 27, 2003, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Trisha Wilson and Jeremiah Eilander. He was currently attending Garwin-Green Mountain High School, where he was a Junior. Isaiah loved being outdoors. He enjoyed his dirt bikes and four wheelers. He liked to go fishing and horseback riding. He was very fond of his horses and dogs.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; his siblings, Trenton and Kylie Eilander; his second family. Chris and Marci Krull and their children, Madison and Zachary; Shuree Witte and her family; grandparents, Karen Sell and Ed and Kandi Eilander; great grandmother, Lois Eilander; special friends, Matt and Beth Streeter; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
