Worley Brown
The Toledo Chronicle
March 2, 1876Died – Worley, son of Mr. and & Mrs. W. N. Brown, on Saturday evening. The funeral service was held Sunday afternoon at half past two, in the Congregational Church. Rev. Rindell spoke very highly of Worley, and preached a fine sermon.
[Worley was the son of William N. Brown (1838-1899) and Adelaide Leggett Brown (1846-1911). William and Adelaide were married in 1862 in Ohio. They had a son, William A., born in Wisconsin in 1864. The family moved to Toledo, Iowa and had a son, Franklin C. in 1873 and a daughter, Edna Z. in 1883. It is supposed that Worley was born between 1865-1868 in Wisconsin or 1869-1872 in Iowa...between age 4 to 11 in 1876 when he died (since he was not a baby, but a child when he died)].
