PATRICIA ANN (SADLER) BACINO

TAMA--Patricia Ann (Sadler) Bacino, 86, of Garland, TX formerly of Tama passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 30, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 29, 2013, from 2-5 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.

Patricia was born on June 12, 1927 in Tama, Iowa, the daughter of Lauren E. "Doc" and Frances (Hackett) Sadler. She was raised and educated in Tama graduating from Tama High School. In 1946, she was married to Raymond Walton. They lived in Hartwick where she was the telephone switchboard operator. Ray passed away in 1951. Patricia married Vencil "Chan" Bacino in 1953. They made their home in Tama. She was a homemaker. Chan passed away in 2006. After his passing, she moved to Texas to live with her daughter, Kathy. She enjoyed the mild winters and her canine "babies." Patricia is survived by her children, Dennis (Carol) Walton of Montour, Michael (Deb) Bacino of Des Moines, Kathy (Joanie) Bacino of Garland, TX, Gina (Ted) Sharer of Boone and Laurie (Scott) Bacino of Toledo; her grandchildren, Matthew (Katie) Walton, Nathan (Dawn) Walton, Lauren (Josh) Novak, Sarah (Darrin) Bacino, Jeremy (Melissa) Bacino, Alex Sharer, and Tori Appelgate; great-grandchildren, Elias, Brianna, Delaney (Robert), Lane, Ean, Logan, Kierra, Christian and Journey Ann Walton, Carter, Hunter, Eli and Reagan Bacino; her brother, Robert Sadler of Council Bluffs; and her sister-in-law, Barbara Sadler of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Raymond and Chan; her brother, Del Sadler; and her sister-in-law, Ruth Sadler. Memorials may be directed to Iowa River Hospice Home.
