Dysart—Mrs. Bettie Marsau, 77, at her home here, nee Bettie Horstman, in Scott county, Iowa, Feb. 18, 1867, the daughter of John and Doris Horstman. In early childhood she moved to Reinbeck with her parents; was married - to John H. Marsau in October, 1886; they lived at Reinbeck about a year, then moved to Dysart, where Mr. Marsau conducted a meat market and later, entered the lumber business under the firm name of Marsau and Moeller; in 1908 the family moved to Traer, where Mr. Marsau was engaged in the lumber business with Lyman Wood; he died in 1926 and Mrs. Marsau continued her residence in Traer until October, 1941, when she moved to Dysart to be near her son, John; leaves son, who is cashier of the Dysart National bank, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren; four sisters: Mrs. Emrna Staack, Wetaskiwin, Canada; Mrs. A. J. Metzger, Fessenden, N. D.; Mrs. William Kessler, Dysart; Mrs. Lillian Moeller, Reinbeck: one brother. Chris C. Horstman, Long Beach, Cal.; funeral, Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Wunder funeral home; burial in the Dysart cemetery
