Mrs. Grant Hill, 73, died Friday at her home. When her nephew, Carl Stineshower came home for dinner he found her on the floor dead. She had not been ill and the deputy coroner, Dr. A. J. Haviik, of Tama, announced that her death was caused by a heart attack and that she probably died about 8 o'clock that morning. The funeral service was held Sunday afternoon at the Henderson funeral home conducted by Rev. F. C Scott, pastor of the United Brethren church. Mrs. Harold Boles and Mrs. Ruth Thompson sang "Going Down the Valley One by One" and "Face to Face." They were accompanied by Mrs. J.E. Elston. Pallbearers were Aaron Young, F.B. Carson, Dell Bullard, Ray Asher, Ned Dann and Clarence Brecht. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery. The following life sketch was read at the service:

Elfie Albertie Hill, daughter of Jacob and Hannah Stineshower, was born in Tama county, Iowa, March 7, 1868. and died June 13, 1941, at her home in Toledo. All of her life had been spent in the Toledo vicinity with the exception of five years when she resided in Humbolt county. She was married to Grant Hill March 13, 1890. Mr. Hill preceded her in death four years ago. After coming to Toledo she united with the United Brethren church during the pastorate of the late Dr. T.D. Crites. She was a faithful member of the church and Sunday school and attended these services as long as her health permitted. She leaves to mourn her death, a nephew, Carl Stineshower, and one brother, John Stineshower, of Toledo, and many nieces and nephews. Among relatives from away who attended the funeral were Mrs. John Quackenbush, of Madrid; Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Stevenson, Mrs. George Scott, Mrs. Gertrude Scheck and Mrs. Ralph Hageman, Cedar Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Millard McAnulty, Marshalltown; Ed Cox, Dysart.
