MEMORIAL CARD:
Joyce Marie Lenth was born August 3, 1923 at Danbury, IA, daughter of Vern and Beryl Hoyt Silver. She received her education in Lake View, Iowa and graduated in the class of 1941.

On December 26, 1941 she was united in marriage to Donald Lenth in South Sioux City, NB. Joyce and Don then made their home in Lake View for a time before moving to Anita, IA for two years. In 1948 they became members of the Traer community where Joyce worked for a time as a secretary at the Traer schools. In free moments she enjoyed playing bridge and bowling. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Bonne Volante, Traer Country Club and Iowana Club.

Recently Joyce has been in failing health and her death came on Sunday afternoon, March 4, 2007 with her family at her side at the age of 83 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant daughter Linda in 1942 and a sister Jean Krejci. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Donald, her children Pam Ohrt of Des Moines, IA, Tom Lenth of San Diego, CA and Lu Roth and husband Ben of Earlham, IA, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one niece Kristy McGuire, and two nephews Allen and Lee Krejci.

Interment will be at Buckingham Cemetery, Traer, IA with Overton Family Funeral Homes, Traer, IA handling the arrangements.
