MRS. EMIL LACINA DIED WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Emil Lacina of Toledo, died at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, at Evangelical hospital in Marshalltown. She was taken to the hospital at 9 a.m. in Mason's ambulance. Services are pending at the Mason Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lacina, in her late 50's, had been bedfast the last 6 months at her home and during that time was in the hospital several times for treatment and care. She underwent surgery three years ago.

She was the former Vivian Norris.

Surviving are her husband, Mr. Lacina, and a son, John Lacina, at home, and two daughters, Dixie Lee Lacina, at hime, and Mrs. Roger (Deana Mae) Whaley in Washington state. There are 5 grandchildren in the Whaley family.

Also surviving are her father, Vern Norris, Toledo city councilman, and a sister, Mrs. Franz (Marjorie) Sieck of Marion.
