Tama--Mrs. E.C. Norris, for many years a resident of Tama, passed away Friday, August 10, at a sanatorium in Blair, Nebraska, where she had been taking treatments for some time. The body was brought back to Tama for burial and the funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30, from the Baptist church, Rev. R.D. Kinney officiating. Mrs. Norris was 66 years of age. She was a native of Ohio and before her marriage was Miss Jennie Coe. She came to Tama in her early years and was united in marriage with E.C. Norris, who survives her. She is also survived by three brothers and three sisters, Dan, of Guernsey, Wyoming; William and Thomas, of Tama; Mrs. Ellis Malin, of Canada; Mrs. Mary Carpenter, of Salem, South Dakota; and Mrs. Dan Hoffman, of Tama. The body was laid to rest in Woodlawn cemetery, Toledo.
