Mitchell Charles Parizek, age 47, of Madison, WI and formerly of Clutier, died at home due to a sudden illness. Private graveside services will be held at a future date.
Mitchell Charles Parizek was born on December 22, 1959, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Gary C. and Beverly (Hennings) Parizek.
Mitch attended Clutier Elementary Schools and High School at North Tama where he graduated in 1978. He participated in baseball, track and football. He attended Hawkeye Community College for two years and received the aircraft and powerplant certification. He became employed by Eastern Airlines in Miami, FL. After Eastern Airlines liquidated, he transferred to Chicago O’Hare. Mitch then entered the U.S. Army and was stationed overseas in Panama for three years. He most recently lived and worked in Madison, WI.
He was an avid bicyclist and never failed to ride the Ragbrai trip since 1987.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents; and his father, Gary in 2004.
Survivors include his mother, Beverly Parizek of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Darcy Parizek of Greensborough, NC, and Sacha (Ed) Forester of Frisco, TX; one brother, Samuele (Laura) Parizek of Elberon; nieces and nephews, Garrett and Payton Forester, Natalie, Charlie and Braydie Parizek.
