OBITUARY

Robert (Bob) Stuart was born October 10, 1916 in North Tama County, Iowa, the son of John and Ida (Kern) Stuart. Bob attended school in Dinsdale, Traer and Dysart.

On December 30, 1939, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Wilkerson at Janesville, Iowa. Bob and Dorothy have made their home in Traer most of their married life where he was a self employed garbage man for the town of Traer for 30 years, retiring in 1974. He also served as part-time policeman in Traer for many years. After his retirement Bob enjoyed repairing clocks, reading and spending time with his seven grandsons, two granddaughters-in-law and two great-granddaughters.

Bob's death came early Tuesday morning, May 23, 1995, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, one daughter and her husband; Linda and Daryl Cross of Liscomb, Iowa; two sons, Ronnie and his wife Marlys of Buckingham, Iowa; and Jim and his wife Katie of Fort Dodge, Iowa; two sisters, Mary Wagner of Peru, IL and Glea Klepinger of Bedford, IA and also his grandchildren.
