OBITUARY

Lydia A. Dinsdale, 88 of Traer, died Thursday, March 15, 2001, at Sunrise Hill Cre & Rehab Center in Traer following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services for Lydia were held Monday afternoon, March 19, at Ripley United Church of Christ officiated by the Rev. Sheryl Campbell. Burial was in Buckingham Cemetery.

Organist was Judy Mason. Casket bearers were Charles Dinsdale, Craig Dinsdale, David Dinsdale, Bill Dinsdale, Gary Dinsdale and Glen Witt.

Lydia A. Dinsdale was born April 24, 1912, at her home in Dinsdale, the daughter of Thomas and Jennie (Fleming) Dinsdale.

She received her education at Dinsdale School and then worked in the Traer area as a home health aide. She later was employed at Sunrise Hill Care Center.

Preceding her in death were her parents; six brothers, Oscar, Floyd, LeRoy, Wilson (Bud), Calvin and Lorin; and four sisters, Matilda Foster, Frances Keller, Ella Claussen and Arlene Frier.

She is survived by one sister, Mildred Witt of Reinbeck and one brother, Marvin Dinsdale of Traer.

Memorials may be dircted to Sunrise Hill Care & Rehab Center in Traer.

Overton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
