WEAVER, Dennis Paul (1943 - 2000)

Dennis WEAVER

Dennis Paul WEAVER, 56, of Leawood, KS and a native of Traer, died July 1, 2000 at his home of cancer.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at Church of the Nativity, with burial at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.

Mr. WEAVER was born Oct. 23, 1943 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Ernest and Kathryn WEAVER of Traer. He grew to manhood near Traer, and graduated form Traer High School with the Class of 1961.

Dennis was distinguished by his diverse career life, which started as a milk delivery man, and ended as an executive at Hallmark Cards. His dedication to his job was paralleled by his devotion to his yard, which was beautifully and meticulously landscaped and cared for.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Joann, 12405 Eaton, Leawood, KS., 66209; his two sons, Chris and Valerie WEAVER, and Michael WEAVER, all of Leawood; two grandsons, his parents, Ernest and Kathryn WEAVER of Traer; and his two sisters, and their husbands, Karla and Bob CASEY of Traer and Cynthia and Wade MITCHELL of Buckingham; and his mother-in-law, Betty RUND of Traer.
