MISS MABEL LEWIS AND E. K. TOWNSEND MARRIED

Miss Mabel Lewis and Mr. E. K. Townsend were married last Thursday evening, July 21, at the parsonage of Tranquility church, north of Toledo, by Rev. Francis H. Shedd. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Townsend.

Mrs. Townsend has been a resident of Toledo since 1893, when she moved here with her parents from Ida County. She attended the local schools, and was graduated from the high school and Leander Clark College. She taught in South Dakota, served as deputy to the auditor in Hand county, South Dakota, and has taught in the rural schools of Tama County. She was employed in the abstract office of the late A. G. Smith, and has continued in that office under E. A. Benson and Dr. A. H. Runkle.

Mr. Townsend is a farmer living north of Toledo, where he and his bride will make their home.
