Engagements: In the beginning of the siege on Sedan; under 72 hoursŐ barrage in Argonne Forest.
Wounded: Gassed at Sedan
Hospitalized Overseas: Base Hospital 58, Remaucourt, France, evening of Nov. 11, 1918, until Christmas time. Flu soon after landing in France, and pneumonia after being gassed.
Medals-Ribbons: Citation for gallantry, especially meritorious services, and being wounded in action.
Returned to US: from Brest, France
