Olive Lavina Smith was born on Aug. 6, 1850 in Harmony, Rock, WI and died on May 23, 1919 in Woodbury Co., Iowa. She married Lucian Kellogg on Aug. 27, 1868 in Janesville, Rock, Wisconsin Vol 2, page 10. Lucian, son of John Philip Pentecost and Adeline Louisa Kellogg, was born on Feb. 16, 1841 in New York and died on Feb. 4, 1910 in Iowa City, Wright, Iowa.

Olive was the daughter of Artemus W. Smith of New York, Wisconsin, and Kansas and Julia G. Crosby (or Catherine M.) of New York and Wisconsin
