Son of Luther and Bertha Mikesell.

Entered service Feb 25, 1918, Camp Dodge; transferred to Camp Logan; first entered Co. F, 351st.

Mustered out Feb 25, 1919 from Co. B, 129th Inf.

In France May 24, 1918; member of Co. B, 129th Inf., 33rd Div. In battle of Argonne Forest.
