Born Oct 28, 1895 at Chelsea, IA.

Son of Vencil and Josephine Zorne.

Entered service May 28, 1918.

First entered Camp Dodge; transferred to Camp Upton; first entered Co. C, 349th Inf.

In France Aug 18, 1918 on Alsace Lorain front with 3349th Infantry, 88th Div.

Mustered out Jun 11, 1919.
