Son of Henry and Kathryn Wiese.

Enlisted Feb 25, 1918 at Toledo, IA.

Entered Camp Greene; transferred to Camp Mills and Camp Merritt; first entered Co. E, 47th Inf.

Mustered out Mar 5, 1919 from Casual Co. 86.

In France May 17, 1918; member of Co. E, 47th Reg., 4th Div. Took part in the battles of Vesle River, St. Mihiel and Argonne-Meuse.

Sergeant.
