Whorrall, Lawrence E.

Born Aug 10, 1893 in Marshall County, IA.

Son of J. M. and Maggie Whorrall.

Enlisted May 9, 1917 at Jefferson Barracks.

Entered Jefferson Bks; transferred to Camp Baker, and American University Grounds, Washington, DC; first entered Co. A, 2nd Regt., Engineers.

Mustered out Aug 14, 1919 from Co. A, 2nd Regt., Engineers.

In France Oct 2, 1917; member of Co. A, 2nd Regt., Engrs., 2nd Div.

In battles of Chateau-Theirry, Soissons, St. Mihiel, Blanc Mont, and Meuse-Argonne. The 2nd Div. was cited for bravery.

Mess Sergeant.
