Son of J. W. and Ida V. Waggoner.

Enlisted May 7, 1917 in Marshalltown, IA.

Entered Chickamauga; transferred to Camp Wadsworth; first entered Co. B, 16th Machine Gun Bn.

In France July 12, 1918; member of 6th Div. In the Argonne Drive.

Sergeant.
