Son of John and Mary Strachota.

Entered service Aug 15, 1918 at Toledo; entered Camp Jefferson; transferred to Ft. Bliss; first entered Co. 10, 1st Road Reg. Repair Unit.

Mustered out July 30, 1919 from M.T.C. 392.
