Son of James B. and Mary C. Keith.

Enlisted Feb 6, 1918 in Toledo, IA.

Entered Ft. Leavenworth; transferred to Camp Meade; first entered 324th F. Sig. Bn.

In France Jul 15, 1918; member of 315th Inf., 79th Div. Took part in the battles of Argonne and St. Mihiel.
