Enlisted July 24, 1918, at Toledo; entered Camp Gordon; first entered Co. C, 4th Repl. Regt.

Mustered out June 10, 1919, from Hdq. Co., 316th Inf. In France Sep 12, 1918; in reserve with Hdq. Co., 316th Inf., on Verdun front Nov 10, 1918.
