Son of John J. and Minnie J. Peterson.

Entered service May 13, 1918; entered Jefferson Bks; transferred to Camp MacArthur; first entered Co. D, 56th Inf. 7th Div.

In France Aug 11, 1918. Member of Co. K, 47th Inf. 4th Div. In battle of Argonne Forest. Gassed Oct 5, 1918, and died Oct 7, 1918.
