Son of Andrew J. and Anna E. Paton.

Entered service Apr 29, 1918.

Entered Camp Dodge; transferred to Camp Travis, Camp Mills; first entered Co. I, 350th Inf.

In France Jul 21, 1918; member of Co. K, 360th Inf.

Wounded by shrapnel in leg and by bayonet in face. In battle of St. Mihiel.
