Born in Franklin Grove, IL, Dec 20, 1888.

Son of Lewis and Sarah Myers.

Entered service Feb 26, 1918.

Entered Camp Dodge; entered Co. D, 345th Reg; transferred to 118th Infantry, 30th Div; transferred to Camp Sevier, Camp Merritt.

In front line trenches in spring of 1918.

Killed in action Oct 9, 1918, while carrying dispatches near Bohain, when he was struck in forehead by shrapnel.
