Son of George W. and Jesse L. Moorcroft.

Enlisted July 8, 1918 at Marshalltown, IA.

Entered Fort Logan; transferred to Camp Presidio and Fort Winfield Scott; first entered 49th Co., Coast Art. Corps; transferred to 20th Co., and Bat. F, 40th Co., C.A.C.

Mustered out Dec 30, 1918 from 52nd Co., Coast Art. Corps.
