Born March 17, (year not shown) in Tama County.

Son of Joseph and Catherine Kriz.

Entered service Sep 21, 1917, Camp Dodge.

Transferred to Camp Cody and Camp Dix; first entered Co. A, 126th M.G. Bn.

Mustered out March 29, 1919 from Co. B, 114th M.G. Bn. In France Sep 29, 1918.

Researcher Note:
I was unable to locate Joseph Frank Kriz in the Social Security Death Index. I did find his parents in the St. Vaclava Cemetery, Carroll Township, IA (I could be mistaken, so you should check for yourself). Listed there is Josef Kriz born 7 Mar 1857; d. 29 Jun 1928 and Katerina Kriz born 1866 and died 14 Apr 1914.
