Son of Frank and Anna Kokesh.

Enlisted May 8, 1917 at Cedar Rapids,IA

Entered Jefferson Barracks; transferred to Ft. Bliss; first entered Co. H, 64th Inf.

In France Sep 18, 1918; member of Co. H, 64th Inf., 7th Div. In the last battles.

Bugler.
