KNOBLOCK, Harry G.

Born June 27, 1890 in Marshalltown, IA.

Son of John and Emma Knoblock.

Enlisted May 7, 1917 at Marshalltown.

Entered Ft. Logan; transferred to Camp Harry J. Jones, Camp Du Valdahon; first entered Battery B, 6th Field Artillery.

Mustered out Aug 26, 1919 from Battery B, 6th Field Artillery.

In France Aug 4, 1917; member of Battery B, 6th Field Artillery, 1st Div. In battles of Cantigny, Soissons, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, Montdidier-Noyon. Sixth Field Artillery received Croix de Guere with Gold Star.
