Son of Aldas Joel and Lillian S. Hoover.

Enlisted April 25, 1917 at Marshalltown, IA.

Entered Fort Logan; transferred to Fort Bliss, Fort Douglas, Fort Riley, Camp Crane, Camp Merritt.

In France Nov 1918.
