Son of Thomas Franklin and Anna Hardon.

Entered service Jul 24, 1918; entered Camp Merritt; first entered 4th Repl.

Mustered out May 28, 1919 from 327th Inf., Co. A, 82nd Div.

In France Sep 7, 1918; member of 327th Inf., Co. A, 82nd Div. The 82nd Div. was decorated for bravery by Gen. Foch.
