HANZELKA, Frank L.

Born Oct 3, 1894, at Chelsea, Iowa.

Son of John J. and Teresie H. Hanzelka.

Entered service Sep 21, 1917, at Chelsea; entered Camp Dodge; transferred to Camp Cody, Nov 1, 1917; first entered Co. D. 133rd Inf., 34th Div.

Mustered out April 17, 1919.

In France, July 18, 1918; in battles of St. Mihiel, Sep 12-18, 1918; raid on Raivell Sep 26, 1918; second battle of Verdun, Nov 8-11, 1918. In 104th Inf., which was decorated for bravery.
