GRAVATT, Howard Irving

Born Oct 10, 1896 in Tama County, IA.

Son of Albert and Irene Gravatt.

Enlisted June, 1918 at Cedar Rapids, IA.

Entered Jefferson Barracks; transferred to Fort Leavenworth and Camp Upton; first entered 11th Depot Bn., Signal Corps.

In France Nov 9, 1918; member Blackhawk Div, which was decorated for bravery.

Mustered out Feb 8, 1919, from 311th Field Signal Corps.

Bugler.
