EVANS, Elwyn J.

Born Dec 6, 1896 in Wayne County, Nebraska.

Son of Thomas E. Evans.

Enlisted June 1917 at Jefferson Barracks.

Entered Jefferson Bks; transferred to Camp Greene; first entered Co. L, 50th Inf.

In France April 1918; member of Co. L, 59th Inf. 4th Div. In the battles of Chateau Theirry, St. Mihiel, Lorraine, Meuse-Argonne and Vosges Sector.

Corporal.
