Son of Adolph and Mary Dengler.

Entered service April 29, 1918.

Entered Camp Dodge; transferred to Camp Travis; first entered Co. D, 350th Inf.

In France July 12. In the battles of St. Mihiel.

Member of Co. F, 359th Inf., 90th Div.

Wounded in lelft jaw, in the battle of St. Mihiel.
