Son of Herman C. and Elizabeth P. Clough.

Enlisted March 16, 1918 at Marshalltown, IA.

Entered Fort Logan; transferred to Fort Flagier. First entered 19th Recruit Co., Fort Logan; transferred to 26th Co., 1st Co. and 13th Co., Fort Flagler.

Corporal.
