Enlisted July 24, 1918 at Toledo, IA.

Entered Camp Gordon; transferred to Camp Shelby and Camp Dodge; first entered Co. C, 4th Repl. Reg.

Mustered out Dec 30, 1918 from 101st Div.

Recommended for Second Lieutenant.
