Overseas Training: Waipo Training Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, October 1944. Assigned U.S.S. LSM 8

Engagements: Reinforcement action at Bougainville, Solomon Islands, November 1944; Lingayen Gulf, Luzon, P.I., January 9, 1945 (initial invasion), initial troop landings on Japan.

Medals-Ribbons: American Theater, Asiatic-Pacific, Good Conduct, Philippine Liberation, Victory

Returned to US: Guam, December 18, 1945; into San Francisco on February 22, 1946.

Discharged: Minneapolis, MN on March 2, 1946
