THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, February 7, 2006.

In loving memory of Daniel Lynn Gammon, our son and brother who died Mon. Jan. 30. Loving husband and father, 20-year veteran, decorated leader and hero, former commandant of Iowa Soldiers Home, will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Go in Peace. We will always love you. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
