Story County Deaths

Roy Hennick, 74, of Maxwell, died Tuesday May 5,1981 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
He was born in Shipley on April 16, 1907, the son of Irvin and Myrtle Hennick. On July 15, 1929, he married Dorothy Warrell in Bethany, MO. She preceded him in death in 1977.
Mr. Hennick is survived by four sons, Norman of Ankeny, Milton of Waterloo, Robert of Rhodes, Marion of Cambridge; two daughters, Linda Robertson of Maxwell and Norma Hollander of Eldridge; two sisters, Blanche Eubank of Maxwell and Dorothy Hay of Mingo; 31 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. at the Cooper Funeral Home, Maxwell, with Rev. Tom Dehner officiating.
Burial will follow in the Maxwell Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Cooper Funeral Home, Maxwell, from 1 p.m. Thursday.
