Robert C. Hopkins, 61, 3227 McKinney Ave., Dallas, TX died, Friday, Sept. 22 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg, with burial following at the Roland Cemetery in Roland.
Mr. Hopkins was born August 4, 1939 to Earl and Naomie (Stormer) Hopkins in Havelock. He graduated from Havelock High School in 1957 and Iowa State University in 1961. Following his retirement as Vice President, from Guarantee Life Insurance Co., in Omaha, NE, he moved to Dallas, TX in 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Renae (Kevin) Moore, Houston, TX; Mrs. Tammy Jo (David) Dewhurst of Houston, TX; one brother, Don Hopkins, Havelock, one sister, Mrs. Donna (Don) Schendel, Pocahontas, and his mother Mrs. Naomie (Earl) Hopkins of Pocahontas.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Earl Hopkins and one brother, Earl Hopkins.
