THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, December 21, 2005.

Jeanie Hunter, 52, of Ames, died Monday, Dec. 19, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Hal Olson officiating.

Jeanie Hunter was born Nov. 11, 1953, in Ames to Duane and K. Colleen (Olson) Michelsen. She was a lifetime Ames resident. She worked as a machine operator at 3M for 27 years.

She is immediately survived by her parents, Duane (Mike) and Colleen Michelsen of Bella Vista, Ark.; one daughter, Kathryn Lynn Hunter of Des Moines; one sister, Janet Michelsen of Nevada; one brother, Jack Michelsen of West Melbourne, Fla.; one uncle, Harold (Joan) Olson of Burnsville, Minn.; and one aunt, Dorothy Golf of Bakersfield, Calif.

Adams Funeral Home in Ames is in charge of arrangements.
