THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, December 15, 2005.

Melissa Renee Wilson, 26, of Tulsa, Okla., died peacefully Dec. 8, 2005. She was born on June 27, 1979, to Arthur and Barbara (Caudill) Wilson of Lake View. She graduated from Union High in 1997 after which she attended and graduated Oral Roberts University.

She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in finance. She worked in the financial field for several years, including at Abercrombie and Fitch, Morgan Stanley, Impact Productions and was recently employed at IBM as a business analyst. With a caring heart, she served as a junior high youth leader at Guts Church in Tulsa, Okla. Her other works in the ministry included participating in children's ministry, mission trips and many other church activities. Her efforts affected the lives of everyone she worked with as well as those she ministered to. Her passions were loving God, loving people and loving life.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Wilson of Lake View; two sisters, Valerie (Gregory) Raymond of Overland Park, Kan., and Tiffany Wilson of Point Lookout, Mo.; and one brother, Matthew Wilson of U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Wilson; grandparents George and Genevieve Wilson; and grandfather Roy Caudill.

A private graveside service will be Saturday, Dec. 17, in Iowa Community Cemetery in Kelley.
