Funeral services for Donald (Joe) Warren, 67, rural Boone, IA, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Apr 23, 1978, from Stevens Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Roy Key of First Christian will officiate, with burial in the Cambridge Cemetery.

Mr. Warren died today, Apr 20, 1978, at Boone County Hospital.

He was born Dec 31, 1911, in Gilbert, IA, to Edward and Bertha (Morgan) Warren. He married Bette Presnall in Bethany, MO., Feb 10, 1940. Mr. Warren had farmed in the Cambridge area and then was employed by James Thompson and Sons for many years before retiring three years ago. He was a member of local 1948 Carpenters Union.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Michael of Ames, IA, Bill of Wakefield, NE, and Stanley of Wheatland, WY; one brother; one sister; and five grandsons.

Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Dick.

Stevens Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established. Gifts may be sent to the home, R.R. 5, Boone, IA.
