Nancy (Carr) Lawrence, 41, 2729 Leameadow, Planow, Texas, formerly of Ames, died Thursday, June 14, 1987, in a hospital in Planow. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Stevens Memorial chapel with the Rev. Mark Wetteland, First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Nancy Carr was born March 22, 1943, in Ames, to Ferrell and Dorothy (Warren) Carr. She was a graduate of Ames High School. On Aug. 11, 1962, she was married in Ames to Jack Lawrence.

She was vice president of Kappa Omega Sorority, Chapter 2615 and a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; three daughters, Terri, Traci, and Kim, all of Planow; her parents, Dorothy and George Overgaard, 618 Carr Drive; three brothers, Bob of North Carolina, Larry of St. Paul, Minn, and Gary of Ft Dodge, IA; and a sister, Patsy Heady, Portland, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation at Stevens Memorial Chapel will be 3-9 p.m. Monday, June 18,
1987.
