Carl E. Manley
Oct. 3, 1911, to March 12, 1994Carl E. Manley, 82, of Osage Beach, Mo., formerly of Nevada, died after a lengthy illness at the Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born to George and Jessie Manley in Circleville, Kan. He was married to Maxine Crawford. He spent much of his life in Nevada and worked for the McGrath Furniture Store for more than 32 years. He was a member of the Nevada Masonic Lodge and attended Central Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. He moved to Osage Beach in 1978.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Manley of Osage Beach, Mo.; his daughter, Jayne Heintz of Osage Beach, Mo.; his son, David Manley of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; his brother, Cliff Manley of Garden City, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services were held March 15 at the Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton, Mo., with the Rev. Ross Fulton officiating. The body will be cremated following services.
