Homer N. Hanson
Homer N. Hanson, 63, Huxley, died on -- Sept. 2 at Mary Greeley Hospital. [Funeral] services will be held from Steven Memorial Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. [6] with burial in the Nevada Cemetery, Nevada. Pastor Donald Forbes of Calvary United Methodist Church will officiate.
[Friends] may call at Stevens Memorial [Chapel ------ --- ] p.m. Monday, Sept. 5.
[Homer was born July 6,] 1914 in Lyons, Neb. Mr. [Hanson was] married to Marie Moravetz --------- 1953 at Nevada. He was engaged [in the] paving construction industry [for --] years. He retired in May 1977 due to illness.
Mr. Hanson was a veteran of WW II and a member of the Moose Lodge of Ames and the American Legion Post No. 37.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter Myrna Allison, Sioux City, a sister Grace Montanye, Freemont, Neb., a half sister June Loomis, Wisconsin and two grandchildren.
