EVELYN APPLEGATE [sic]

Evelyn Lucille Applegate [sic], 63, of Nevada, died Sunday, March 15, 1981, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

On April 27, 1938, she married Glen Applegate [sic] in Nevada. Mrs. Applegate [sic] was employed by Donnelley Marketing, retiring in 1973 after 23 years there. She was a member of the Nevada United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Glen, two sons, Ralph and Richard of Nevada, a daughter, Mrs. Carnie Trantham of Vinton, a brother, Russell McNatton of Tucson, Ariz., two sisters, Lois French and Marilyn Allie of Des Moines and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 17, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Nevada, with Rev. Harold Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in the Nevada Cemetery.
