Eric James Reinier, infant son of Ryan and Sherri Reinier, died Friday, November 18, 2005 at his home in Nevada, Iowa. Funeral services were Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada, Iowa. Memorials may be given to the University of Iowa Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or the Spina Bifida Association of Iowa.

Eric James Reinier was born September 7, 2005 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines to Ryan Kent and Sherri Lynn (O'Braden) Reinier of 1814-8th Street in Nevada, Iowa. He was lovingly cared for by his parents and the University of Iowa Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Iowa City. He died at home at the age of 2 months and 11 days.

Eric is survived by his parents, Ryan and Sherri Reinier of Nevada; his brothers, Nick, Dylan, and Ryan Jr. and his sister, Savannah all at home; grandparents, Kevin and Karen Bernard of Des Moines, David and Barbara O'Braden of Belton, Texas, Jim and Michelle Reinier of Des Moines.
